Horse Showcase on Sunday, May 26th from 9 am to 5 pm – Join us as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Horse Showcase with a great FREE FAMILY FOCUSSED event for all horse lovers. The Horse Showcase features over 25 different breeds of horses showcasing their skills in the great outdoors! Presentations include Polocrosse, 6 Horse Percheron Hitch, Parade of Breeds and Trail Horse Showcase Competition. Great kids activities including Stick Horse Parade, Obstacle Course and Spot the Horse Scavenger Hunt. Lots of other great FREE FAMILY activities on site including Stick Horse Making (10 am – 4 pm), a “Celebrate Strathcona - 120 year of Horses in the County" Photo Exhibit, and Silent Auction. Presented by the Strathcona All-breed Horse Association. This event takes place at the Strathcona Olympiette Centre (Fultonvale) which is 10 minutes Southeast of Sherwood Park. To commemorate the anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope, every school in Canada is invited to participate in the Terry Fox National School Run Day. This event will be held simultaneously at schools large and small from coast-to-coast. With millions of schools participating, this could one of the largest single-day events in Canadian history and will allow our youth to show all of Canada the power they have to help others.
